| Cabernet Franc 2005 It was made from grapes from Fred Artz' on Red Mountain, Chandler Reach, just a stone's throw up the Yakima Valley, and from Meek Family Vineyard near Benton City. This wine showcases some of the reasons that Cabernet Franc is beginning to turn heads. Depth of color, flavor, mouth feel; raspberries, not black berries, high palate tones, not plums and cherries - these are marks of Cabernet Franc at its best and beautifully expressed in this vintage. This Cabernet Franc is no weak cousin of Cabernet Sauvignon! Try Camaraderie Cabernet Franc with salmon sometime; almost anyway you fix it - blackened, poached, baked, or barbequed. The brightness of the fruit and good acid levels will cut through those healthy Omega 3 fats and fit right in with the spice of a blackened fish or with a summer's fresh fruit salsa. SKU 640664

| Cabernet Sauvignon 1996 (Alberta)Only released in 2000, the Camaraderie Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 1996 continues the heritage of full-flavoured red wines from this specialty winery in Washington State. Mercer Ranch and Klipsun fruit was again utilized to create this complex flavoured wine.Grapes from these legendary eastern Washington vineyards go into such notable wines as Woodward Canyon and Quilceda Creek. After long term aging in both American and French oak barrels, the 1996 wine was lightly fined but not filtered. It is therefore recommended that the wine breathe before being consumed. Decanting definitely helps fully express the black cherry and plum elements through this added aeration. A remarkable value. SKU 476671

| Cabernet Sauvignon 2002Don Corson crafted this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine from grapes coming from three of the best vineyards in Washington State. Fred Artz's vineyard on Red Mountain brings the structure, black berry and cherry elements; Paul Campoux's vineyard at Mercer Ranch always brings a lovely soft middle and plum tones; and, Len Parris' vineyard at Chandler Reach contributes lighter, near floral tones, but also sound structure. Not only were the grapes fantastic but the combination of complementary flavors from three vineyards lent such completeness that blending of other grape varieties was not required. SKU 841973

| Cabernet Sauvignon 2004Camaraderie Cabernet Sauvignons have been known for their depth and structured flavors that are strong to berry and cherry elements. Another attribute of our Cabernet's has been complexity borne of using fruit from multiple vineyards and utilizing a variety of oak and fermentation techniques. This year's bottling includes a small percentage of Merlot, the traditional blending varietal that helps fill the "hole" in the flavor "donut" of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Sauvignon fruit was sourced from four vineyards: Fred Artz' on Red Mountain; Paul Champoux' at Mercer Ranch; Len Parris' at Chandler Reach, and Butch Milbrandt's at Clifton. This translates that the four different appellations used each add their own strengths of berry, herb, and cherry to this wine. SKU 445528

| Grâce 2004All 5 Bordeaux varieties (60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot), each from seperate regional vineyards, exquisitely blended . A beautifully complex and elegant wine and a true Washington State, Columbia Valley wine. The grapes are sourced from four official appellations. Fred Artz vineyard on Red Mountain complements fruit from Paul Champoux at Mercer Ranch in the Horse Heaven Hills, which merges with fruit from Butch Milbrandt's Clifton Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope. In addition small lots come from Chandler Reach, Crawford Family Vineyard, and Meek Family Vineyard, all in the Prosser-Benton City areas of the Yakima Valley. Each vineyard brings structure for long-term aging, but we think you will find the 2004 Grâce quite attractive now. 90 Points "Sourced from what winemaker Don Corson calls “the best of the best”, this five-grape blend is modeled after Chateau St. Jean’s Cinq Cépages. It shows a carefully sculpted frame, with rich, dark, smoky tannins chiseled into a tight foundation for the dark currant and black cherry fruit. Notes of pepper and spice add interest to the finish, which carries a hint of minerality." - P.G.

| Merlot 2004This Washington State Merlot is world class. The grapes came from Chandler Reach, within eyeshot of Red Mountain, the Fred Artz vineyard on Red Mountain at the far eastern end of the Yakima Valley; and, about a third used to made this vintage came from Butch Milbrandt's Clifton Hill Vineyard up on the Wahluke Slope, the States newest American Viticultural Area. 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc were blended in. Grapes from these vineyards make for structured wines that might be confused with the mouthfeel of Cabernet Sauvignon, It's full of blackberry and cherry and is chewy - not to excess, with oak . Drink it now for a quality but youthful discussion, or allow both of you to age a couple of years for a deeper conversation. SKU 383752
