Ardales 2006 Organic Barrel-Aged TempranilloEverything about this red wine is "green" : Natural cork, recyclable bottle, labels from recycled paper and water based inks. It is a red wine made with organic 100% Tempranillo grapes from 27 year old vines in the Tierra de Castilla region about 200 km south of Madrid. Garnet colour with violet glints. Aromas of ripe red fruits (mulberry and cherry) and very elegant oaky notes thanks to the 4 moths of ageing in French oak barrels. Ardales 2007 Organic Barrel-aged Airen (Blanco)Produced from 100% Airén grapes (the most planted white wine grape in the world) from 40 year old vines organically grown (EcoCert). Classified as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla. A white wine that is clean and bright pale yellow colour with green glints. In the mouth it is lively and fruity with fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits that are also apparent in the nose. Ideal with fish, seafood. aUtor de Aruspide 2004 ReserveOnly 1000 kg/Ha are harvested from the 60 year old 100% Tempranillo vines. Meticulous care and attention go into the production of this red wine that was aged for 9 months in French (Radoux) oak barrels and then a further 19 moths in bottle prior to release. A full bodied, well balanced red and black fruit dominated wine with hints of toasty oak; it will repay cellaring even though it is most enjoyable now provided you allow 15 minutes of rest after decanting. LANDO Blanco 6%Produced from 100% Airén grapes the nust is only partially fermented (6% alcohol). Pale yellow colour with green glints; with notes of zest of citrus fruits, white fruits and aromatic herbs, and a very well integrated acidity-sweetness balance. Young, refreshing, sweet, fruity and low alcohol degree, means lots of qualities to make it easy to taste and very enticing nice on the palate. Ideal with any appetizer,spicy Asian cusisine or as an apertif . Best served very cold (4ºC).

Trío - Vinho de la Tierra Castilla 2004Produced from the hand harvested selection of the best fruit from 60 to 70 year old vines; this 70% Tempanillo, 15% Syrah and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, each from its own single vineyard estate delivers amazing flavours, aromas, structure, quality and value. Maceration took place over 10 days on the skins prior to vinification in stainless steel vats. The wine was aged 12 to 18 months in new Radoux & Demptos French oak barriques prior to an additional 18 - 24 months in the bottle prior to release. Deep garnet red in colour with hints of violet. Aromas of red fruits, primarily strawberry waft over a liquorice backbone. Soft yet structured in the mouth and well-balanced acidity make it ideal with meats, game and cheeses.
