A large plain characterized by alluvial clays expanding from the border line with the Veneto region until oriental hills of Friuli, it has as a superior limit, the amphitheatre of morenic hills. | DOC Friuli Graves 2008 Pinot GrigioHarvested by hand with collection in boxes, maceration takes place in a horizontal press for eight hours followed by a cleasing of the must through decantation. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15°C. Once the fermentation is completed, the wine is left to ripen ripening in the same tanks at controlled temperature for about 5 months. At this point, definitive assembling and bottling are carried out and a further period of about two months of bottle refinement follows. It has a straw yellow colour. Its bouquet is floreal and resembles of lime; on the palate it is fresh, medium-bodied with a long finish. Best enjoyed with pasta dishes, soups, white meat and all kinds of poultry. It can be aged for 3 - 4 years. Best served chilled (but not too cold) to 11 – 12°C. SKU 519918
