For about 120 years, the name Naigeon has been synonymous with high quality and small productions of Burgundy originating in and around Gevrey Chambertin. 

 

Today, Pierre (the 6th generation Nageon) owns 11Ha of prime vineyards that he manages in a naturally sustained manner.  He produces 3 Grand Crus, several Premier Crus and a number of excellent villages and other regional offerings.

 

Taste his wines, you might consider him the magician of Burgundy!

Menthol, spicy, meaty, compost, orange peel, tobacco, smoky rhubarb flavours. Very solid, has some concentration and length. Drink now-2 years with food."

  88/100  "Made from 68 year old vines. Rhubarb, spicy, tobacco, gamey, raspberry, orange, barnyard, compost, minty, raspberry aromas. Dry, tight, elegant palate with rhubarb compote, spicy, orange peel, raspberry, minty, tobacco flavours. Very cool but good fruit and balance for the appellation."
