90/100 "This is a sweeter, late harvest style in 500ml. Baked pear, honey, acacia, floral, slate, lees, apricot, read apple and cream aromas. Sweet, round, elegant style but not cloying, nicely balanced. Cooked pear, quince, honey, dried apricot, butter and cream flavours. Delicate finish with fine flavour concentration. Lacks some acidity but delicious for current drinking."

Clos du Chateau de Mosny Montlouis sur Loire Moelleux 2003 (500 millilitres) "Then came this absolutely stunning one. Apricot and very ripe currants compose part of the complexity of the slightly baked nose, followed by a rush of sweetness at the front of the palate and then what the label announces as "noble bitterness". Can it get any better than this? Rich, sweet fruit and a kind of 12-part-harmony balance: it makes a superb apéritif and a glorious dessert match, especially for anything built around chocolate. An amazing discovery for any palate. The tasters decided to keep it out of the ranking because it is so different from the other wines assembled here. We just gave it our own "double gold" for dazzling every palate in the room."
90 Points "Juicy, with dried pineapple, fig and persimmon flavors followed by a buttery hint on the finish. On the light side for a moelleux, but very pretty and well-balanced. 600 cases made"
