A Rhône wine made from Grenache Noir 60%, Cinsault 15%, Clairette 9%, Syrah 5%, Grenache Blanc 5%, Carignan 3%, Mourvédre 1%, Picpoul 1%, and Bourboulenc 1% coming from 21 plots on the Roc-Épine estate and masterfully blended to produce a truly remarkable rosé.
Domaine Lafond's Tavel is a forceful, rich, personality-filled rosé, offering copious amounts of strawberry and cherry fruit with a whiff of the famed "herbes de Provence."The culminant aromas are complex, red and white fruits mixing with floral tinges. With time, these fruity aromas tend to turn mellow adding touches of spice and plums.

"Coral pink. Fresh raspberry and white peach on the nose, plus a light mineral undertone. Fleshy red fruit flavors coat the palate, displaying a rich, sultry character. Weighty but energetic, with good finishing thrust and persistence. Manages to retain energy while being rich enough to handle full-flavored foods." (2007 Vintage)
