IGT Basilicata Rosso 2006
Produced from 100% Aglianico grapes grown on volcanic soils at an altitude of 500m, it is hand harvested in late October. After the fermentations (including malolactic), the wine is aged for a short period in Slavonian oak casks to preserve the fragrance of the Aglianico grape. It is ruby red and clear, its intense, powerful and warm aromas and flavours linger. Full-bodied and smooth, it shows layers of sweet rich spice and aromatic wood aromas. This wine delivers!

Aglianico del Vulture 2001 D.O.C.
The finest vineyards and wines of Basilicata are in Vulture. You are introduced to this full-bodied award winning wine by its deep ruby red colour and intense and penetrating perfume typical to the Aglianico grape.
The hand harvest of the 100% Aglianico grapes grown at an elevation of 500 metres on medium volcanic mixture soil undergoes typical red wine and malolactic fermentations and then is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 20 to 24 months prior to bottling. It has an aging potential of 10 to 15 years. This is the first vintage from this significant private estate.
Excellent with stews, game, and roasted meats and vegetables on cool fall and winter evenings.
