Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. 2002
Produced and bottled on the La Poderina Estate in Montalcino (Tuscany) from 100% Brunello (Sangiovese grosso) grapes. The wine is fermented for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and then allowed to age 3 to 4 years in Slavonian Oak Barriques prior to a final refining in the bottle for an additional six months before selling.
It has elegant and succulent berry, floral, and cherry aromas and flavours. Medium bodied, fine tannins , and a sweet, crisp finish on the palate. Ready to be enjoyed now but will cellar nicely and can be appreciated immensely through 2013.

Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. 2004
Often considered Brunello's little brother, it expresses itself with young vigour and considerable class. The 100% Sangiovese grapes undergo a traditional fermentation and are aged 9 months in Slavonian Oak barrels followed by an additional 3 months in bottle prior to release. Intense ruby colour with pronounced fragrances of cherry, raspberry and underlying vanilla notes. It is full bodied, balances, slightly tannic and persistent on the palate. Serve at 18 degrees Celsius with first courses, meats and poultry. It will age nicely for at least five years. SKU 366187

Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. 1997
Produced and bottled on the La Poderina Estate in Montalcino (Tuscany) from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) grapes. The wine was fermented in the traditional manner in stainless steel tanks and then allowed to age 2 years in tank and 2 years in oak (Salvonian casks and French barriques) prior to a final refining in the bottle for an additional year before delivery to the market. We have allowed it to carefully age an additional 18 months before we finally released it for our customers' pleasure. Although magnificent now, this wine has the potential to cellar a further decade (2010).
It has an intense ruby colour with a burgundy hue and a concentrated and encompassing nose, ethereal with a hints of wild berries, cherries and vanilla. The flavour is significant, soft and ultimately persistent.
Wine Spectator 94 Points "Glorious aromas of crushed berries, spices and cherries, with hints of cedar. Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and a thick and rich palate. Loads of cherry fruit. Luscious red."
