Vecchia Romagna Etichetta Nera (Black Label) Brandy is obtained from a blend of wine spirit matures is small oak casks. The spirit, which makes up the blend, is aged for a minimum period of three years in French oak barrels. The choice of the wines for the spirit, Trebbiano di Romagna grapes; the distillation technique and the maturing technology are fundamental in creating the particularly harmonious elements that go to make up the bouquet that characterizes this brandy.
The colour is golden-brown amber; the nose is intense with hints of oak; and the taste is full-bodied and harmonious. It is the largest selling spirit in Italy and is recognized around the world for its quality and value.

"Displays early botanical scents of orange peel, fresh not dried coriander, red cherry, pekoe tea & cucumber. Palate entry is sweet at first then it quickly turns mildly bitter and botanical; by midpalate, there's a slight sweetness of tangerine/mandarin peel. Aftertaste is moderately bittersweet and citrusy."
It can be enjoyed straight, with soda and lemon rind, or hot, as well as in various combinations in modern cocktails; and, over ice cream it is magnificent!
