Merlot 2001

Deep purple in color, this Merlot has aromas of violet, plum, and smoky vanillin oak. On the palate, it boasts ripe berry fruit with supportive but supple tannins, and a smooth, velvety finish. Palandri Merlot compliments a wide range of foods. It is a fine choice with red meats and blue cheese; it is also delicious with chicken, duck, or pork especially in slightly sweet Chinese dishes such as Mu Shu Pork, Chicken with Cashew Nuts (Chow Gai Ding), or Peking Duck.

Shiraz 2002

Brilliant garnet in colour with glowing purple highlights, this Shiraz has aromas of blackberries and cracked black pepper, with spicy characters and vanillin accents that result from the use of American oak barrels.  On the palate, it si medium-bodied and rich, with spicy, peppery fruit accented by toasty oak.  Form tannins add grip to the finish.It is suggested that you enjoy this wine with hearty, flavourful foods.  Black bean chilli or lamb marinated with garlic, rosemary, and olive oil and then grilled medium rare are excellent choices.SKU 043588

Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot 2002

This classic Western Australian blend has aromas of plum, blackberry, and violet. On the palate, it is intense and concentrated, with herbal black berry accents. Soft tannins lend a velvety smoothness, creating layers of flavour and a long, lingering finish.
